Breast lift and reduction surgeries restore a firmer, shapelier breast to improve the contours of your body
Women with very large, drooping breasts may experience back and neck pain, skin irritation, skeletal deformities and breathing problems as a consequence of the extra weight. Unusually large breasts can also make a woman feel extremely self-conscious. Breast reduction surgery is type of breast augmentation cosmetic procedure designed to improve body proportions and relieve the symptoms related to overly large breasts.
Pregnancy, weight loss, breast-feeding, or the natural aging process can result in breasts losing their volume and appearing saggy. Breast lift surgery, or breast mastopexy, is a cosmetic procedure designed to lift and improve the fullness of the breast.

About the Procedure
Your plastic surgeon will make an anchor-shaped incision that will circle the areola, extending downward, and following the natural curve of the crease beneath the breast.
The surgeon removes any excess glandular tissue, fat, and skin, and moves the nipple and areola into their new position. They will then bring the skin from both sides of the breast down and around the areola, shaping the new contour of the breast.
Stitches are usually located around the areola, in a vertical line extending downward, and along the lower crease of the breast and, in some cases, techniques can be used that eliminate the vertical part of the scar. Occasionally, if only excess fat needs to be removed, liposuction alone can be used to reduce breast size, leaving minimal scars.
There are several different breast lift techniques, each with their own risks and benefits. Your plastic surgeons will help you choose the appropriate technique for your physical characteristics and objectives.
1. Over time, a woman’s breasts begin to sag and the areolas become larger.
2. Skin formerly located above the nipple is brought down and together to reshape the breast. Sutures close the incisions, giving the breast its new contour.
3. Incisions outline the area of skin to be removed and the new position for the nipple.
4. If your expectations are realistic, chances are you’ll be satisfied with your breast lift.
What to expect during recovery
Following breast mastopexy or breast reduction, you will experience some discomfort, swelling, and bruising which will last two to three weeks but which can be moderated through medication. You should avoid sleeping on your stomach for three weeks following surgery, and will wear a surgical bra for the first seven to ten days. The surgical bra will be replaced by a sports bra which you will be encouraged to wear at all times for several weeks.
Prior to your surgery, your plastic surgeon will provide detailed pre and post surgery instructions to ensure that you are properly prepared for the surgery and the recovery period.
Your New Look
You will find that you feel more confident and comfortable with the size, shape and feel of your breasts. Your beautifully natural results and enhanced body shape will be evident immediately after surgery.
